Guiding Principles
Westcott Press was founded in the Summer of 1981 by Neil and Jeff Carpenter when Jeff was home for the summer after his Junior Year at the University of Redlands.
Neil was a top Sales Rep for Stationers Corporation. One of his customers, Transamerica Financial Services, had a project that Stationers declined to handle. It was a direct mail program for its loan offices around the country.
Westcott Press was started to produce just that project... with Neil doing the prepress work, Jeff making plates and running the press and his mother Mila packing and shipping the work.
When Stationers Corporation went out of business in 1985, Westcott grew quickly to accommodate as much of the work Neil sold as possible.
Since then Westcott Press has been dedicated to helping clients promote their image through personal attention, agile responses, and superior quality work.
